linux w/ apache+php works beautifully for me
Try to keep Apache on it regardless of which platform you are on - although our system works fine on Apache/Linux/Win2k - apparently some of the Zend tools doesn't completely work off IIS such as the compiler. But it works fine on Apache.

I cant use Linnux or Unix it must be Win32. I dont want Apache either. I need something else.
I suppose "else" means IIS. Win98 comes with PWS... or you can try badblue - a tiny webserver (http://www.badblue.com). I don't think IIS works in something other than the NT kernel - tho I'm not a Windoze xpert.
I think you right - PWS sucks so bad that it is turned inside out and BadBlue is worse than what I have at moment - Xitami. I want some options to fiddle with!
Ah yes young Jedi..... know you begin to see why Apache has more market share than all other webservers combined
Well, your full list of options are PWS, Netscape/iPlanet (not sure if iPlanet works with W9x, older versions of Netscape do), OmniHTTPd, Oreilly Website Pro, Xitami (obviously), Caudium, fhttpd, and of course, Apache.
I found Sambar to be a pretty functional, reliable server (www.sambar.com) although.... ultimately, after experimenting with IIS on Win2k.... I opted for Apache =)
