Hi! I want to backup my server's mysql database and take it back to my home PC, but the backup file is too large, I want it to be compressed, what will you do ? I know I can use tar cfz backup-file.gz But, how to un-compress on my PC ?
if u use linux OS u can use
tar -czvf to compress and tar -xzvf to upcompress
in windows u can use winzip
