i am a mysql from the start and thought i knew the ins and outs of it...
i've used it on solaris, linux, unix... even win98 and i've always installed myself.
now for the newbie question: How does it work on win 2000?!
i installed it to c:\mysql\ (just like in win98) but when i attempt to run the -nt version of the daemon, it doesn't seem to do anything, and none of my GUI clients can connect to it, and the mysql DOS client won't work either.
any tips?
