upgrading php, mysql, and apache

What is the recommended procedure to upgrade from PHP4.04 to PHP4.06 win32 binary?

Should PHP4.04 be completely deleted before the upgrade? Can I simply install PHP4.06 on top of PHP4.04 and reconfigure Apache?

Can your recommended procedure also be used to upgrade apache, and mysql?

If you downlaod the Zip file version of PHP 4.0.6, you should be able to just unzip it over the 4.0.4 files. No need to reconfigure Apache.

You might want to adjust 4.0.6's php.ini as some ini entries were changed or added from 4.0.4 to 4.0.6
