I want to execute an external file and print the output on the web-page. I think I will use system or passthru, how do I use them? I cannot see any example?

when I write system("modem.sh"); I cannot se the output, how do I print the output?

Try:

echo system("modem.sh");

OR

$output = system("modem.sh");
echo $output;
