PWS AND PHP

Well i have tried and trid to get things workin for days now..but in no success 🙂

i need help by the big boys 🙂

i got win2000 and has installed all the needings for a webserver on my computer mysql,IIS,and php..if i put my browser on http://localhost/scripts/php/tesp.php it is working perfectly...but the map for my website is wwwroot ..and if i point my browser http://localhost/wwwroot/test.php or any other .php i have made and put in that map he cant find it. just get a page cant be wieved message. and if i try get my page from the net http://www.merakom.dns2go.com its not workin either just htm documents.

How do i get php to work in that map ?? som setting i have missed??

By Default, inetpub/wwwroot maps to http://localhost/ 😉
in Windows explorer, right click on the wwwroot folder=>properties=>web sharing, and look at the alias field. If it's at the default, it will just have a / in it. you can add more aliases, for instance wwwroot.
then go to settings=>control panel=>administrative tools=>internet services manager. expand the tree to default web server (unless you've already named it).
then right click, properties, home directory, and set your permissions for scripts, etc.
