Hi
I have this thoroughly annoying problem with my server which is Apache 1.3.20 with PHP 4.0.6. I've had friends test it too and they've determined that it's not just my version of IE.
I have several PHP pages on my site, and most work fine. However a few of them put IE into an endless loop where it will keep reloading and reloading the page from scratch without actually completing the download, and won't stop until I tell it to. Nowhere in my page do I tell it to do this. I have only one command at present in my page, and it's an include that loads my database connection info. Even when I remove this, the page still goes crazy. However, if I rename the page to .html, all is fine and the page displays correctly.
This leads me to believe that the PHP parser has a problem, or IE has a problem.
I have tried the page in Netscape, and although this particular page is designed to work in IE, it loads almost perfectly except for the IFRAME.
This is driving me nuts! If you'd like to see this in "action", go to www.servercells.com/admin/content_modify.php... note that I am using IE 6.0, but my friends have tested it with 5.0 and 5.5 with the same effect. You may alse experience the "Page cannot be loaded" error after a short flicker.
Please help me! If you wish to see the page source, my PHP ini or my Apache conf, just ask (include an e-mail address as I don't want to dump it here)
Thanks!
