whenever i want to send a mail in php4 using mail(), i get this error...

Warning: Server Error in c:\web server\root\email.php on line 28

I'm running Apache/1.3.20 (Win32) PHP/4.0.6 mod_perl/1.25_01-dev mod_ssl/2.8 on Windows 2000 Advanced Server

my smtp mail server in the php.ini has been localhost, 127.0.0.1, 192.168.0.1, mail.btinternet.com, mail.btclick.com, and still i get the same error.

PLEASE HELP!

Hi!

Have you tried to set the SMTP server temporarly from your script?

For instance like this?

{
ini_set ("SMTP", "smtp.yourhost.com");
@mail($emailaddy, $mailsubject, $report, "From: $fromwho\nX-Mailer: Codehunt")
}
