Muliple Sites on server...

Hum, I currently have a domain:
http://www.fataldesigns.com/

I know that I can have as many sub folders I want for example:
http://www.fataldesings.com/md/
http://www.fataldesigns.com/xyz/

But, How would I do the following and have it run on the same server?

http://xyz.fataldesigns.com
http://xyz.fataldesigns.com/abc/

The DNS would point it to the same IP, but how would I set it up?

Any help, pointers, or links would be appriciated 🙂

Depends on what server you're using. For IIS, you can create a virtual site, and make sure you specify the same IP address and the Host Name.

For Apache, simply add a
<VirtualHost {my IP}>
DocumentRoot /fataldesigns.com/md
ServerName xyz.fataldesigns.com
</VirtualHost>

It's called multi-hosting I think. IIS, Apache and BadBlue all support it from a PHP perspective.
