apache on XP

I am currently developing using php and apache on win98SE, I would like to upgrade to winXP Home Edition.
If i upgrade will it damage my apache install? Will I need to reconfigure or reinstall the apacher web server after the upgrade to XP?

Apache doesn't work with my Version of XP. I reinstalled it and it is configured the same way it was on 98. Every once in a while I get some fatal error message ("Apache.exe hat ein Problem festgestellt..." don't know the english text) but it doesn't say anything about the problem itself. I only have the option to mail a report to MS.

Ya if you upgrade to XP, it will erase some files and you'll hafta re-install Apache. Happened to me.
