I ran the InstallSheild installer for simplicity, and when it was through it said that it could not set up IIS, and to do it manually. What do I need to do?

hi jody!

had the same problem - something about a missing dll.

there's a install.txt included in the directory where you installed php. check this. and don't forget to place php.ini in your %systemroot% (i wondered why it didn't work when i copied it to /system32) 🙂

thanks, but that wasn't it. I didn't tell IIS to look for .php files [oops]. should have posted that a long time ago, but I really appreciate the help. if there weren't websites like this with people like this i would be lost for sure
