The page cannot be found

Dont hate for this... but I really don't know what's wrong. From phpgeek.com i downloaded PHPTriad, a nice package with apache, mysql, pearl and php. I config everything yesterday (i'm trying to work in PHPNUKE). Actually, yesterday everything ran perfect. But today...
LOCALHOST is just not working
"The page cannot be found"
So I checked everything. Apache is running perfectly.... mysql is green light...
what else could it be????? Please help, please

try telnetting to it:

open up DOS boc (or command promt) and type:

telnet 127.0.0.1 80 {return]

then type

GET / HTTP/1.0 [return]
[return]

if anything comes back, good. now check that you have set up default dcument correctly and vhosts and everything else that goes with setting up a web srver (ugh!)
