Well... This isn't really a PHP question but related.
Sometimes when I create a udp connection with fsockopen and request it to read something from the socket but it doesn't get anything to read the script hangs. And it does not cancel after the php timeout. Only yhing I can do is to press stop at the browser. But that leaves the "php.exe" process still up. I can see it in the task manager but it won't let me delete it. I just can't shut it down. And after a few of these errors I have mabey 10-15 "php.exe" processes that just slow the computer down. Restarting apache does not work. I am running as Administrator so I should have access to delete it but I have not found any way to get rid of it.
Anyone with an idea???
I'm running Win2k with PHP 4.0.6
