php w/ ibm DB2

hello,
I am trying to run php on windows using ibm db2 as my database.

It seems that in order to do this I must compile php using Microsofts's Visual C++. I do not have Visual c++ and have been unable to find compiled binaries of php using db2 on the web.

Does anyone know the best (aka easiest and quickest) way to get a windows + ibm db2 version of php?

Hello,

I did a school project using a similar setup.

I installled php 4 something, apache for windows, and installed ibm db2 udb 7.1.

You will need to use php\'s odbc functions to access ibm db2.

I can\'t remember how to do it.. but i know you have to register the database (odbc dns) you will use with windows under controlpanel->odbc setting.....

Even if you don\'t understand my message, i can guarantee that one can run php, and ibm db2 on a windows box...

I never had to recompile php source under windows to make it work with ibm db2...

no need to....

Php provides support via its built in odbc functions calls..

I'm ok for that, I know how to do that but I have an other problem. I need an ODBC driver to access DB2 but I can't find one for free. Do you have one ? Thx.
