Trying to build a "listner" by tcp using sockets on win2000. Never successful. Unable to implement socket.php extention using pear.php. I'd like to create just a simple talkback server on win2000 which echoes back all my keyboards types. Please, help me :-). Bye.

Sorry, those socket functions currently do not work with windows 🙁
There really is no way of creating a listen socket on windows, only unix. Hopefully it will be implimented in the future.
