Hangs when attempting to load extension

Hi,

I've placed all the dll files under windows, (including the php_gd.dll).

When I remove the comment from the extension=php_gd.dll in the php.ini file my server (Xitami) hangs while trying to read it.

I have the dlls in my Windows directory and the php.ini filed has the extension directory as...

extension_dir = ./

Any suggestions as to why I'm gettiong a hang?

Exact same problem.

Tried everything. used the latest PHP4 version on both NT Serevr and NT workstation but Apache (in my case) would just crash.

Really hope someone can solve this problem.

I have a feeling I am missing some other needed libraries or files to get php_gd.dll to work without crashing the web server.

too bad, php_gd.dll offers a lot in terms of developing stuff.

Strange bu using PHP3 under Linux, the php_gd function work fine.
