May i know can i reinstall ODCB ?
becos when i create DSN for my database,
it show me error like this

"
The setup rountine for Microsoft Access
driver ODBC driver could not be
loaded due to system error 1157."

then

"
cound not load the setup or translator
library"

this error is shown for other default
drive also for ex : foxpro , dbase, excel.

May i know the solution ??? thanks

It sounds like the ODBC components may not have been installed properly or something in the files or the Windows Registry is corrupted. Basically what you need to do is "reinstall" the ODBC drivers. Though you do not mention what version of Windows you're running, nor what database you are planning on using--it's always a good idea to include as much information as possible about your configuration so people can help you more quickly--I am going to assume Access since that's the first error message you listed.

Basically

Go to Start | Settings | Control Panel | Add/Remove
Highlight MS Access/MS Office and click on [Add/Remove...]
When you get the setup program from Access/Office, do NOT uninstall everything! Simply deselect the Microsoft ODBC drivers and continue. When prompted to remove these components, say yes and uninstall. If necessary reboot, then do the same steps only this time re-select the ODBC drivers and have the setup program reinstall the ODBC drivers.
