Varibles arntpassed - PLEASE HELP

Hi There

I am using the PHP 4 (Windows) and Apache. Varibles arnt being passed to my PHP scrips eg.

http://my.server/testpage.php?text=testing

the varible text with the value testing will not be pass to the script in testpage.php.

It was working but I suddenely stopped (and at the same time a problem I was having my PHP MySQl support started working !?)

it is still begin passed. Most likely you are expecting '$text' to appear in the global scope, which is a very bad thing.
Instead, look at $HTTP_GET_VARS['text'].

I'm having the same problem. I've tried the $HTTP_GET_VARS with no success. The code was working before I had to reinstall apache and php.

Got it to work by setting register_globals to on. Any idea why the $HTTP*VARS[] didn't work?
