Greets ...
Unix has a nice feature called "symbolic links" .. or SymLinks for short :-) This is where you can create a directory or a file in 1 spot ... then create a "symbolic link" to it from another.
This link looks/acts like a real file/directory.
Does anybody know of how I can replicate this functionality on a Windoz machine? Win2k in particular?
Basically I run several web sites off a single server and wish to share the "pics" directory between they all. This would be very easy on *nix, but I can't, for the life of me, figure out how to do it on WinTel.
Distributed File Management was as close as I came, but that was more "user" centric then "web site" centric.
Thanks for any help.
