php 4.0.6 IIs 4.0 hang up

I have W nt 4.0 + W sp 6a + IIS 4.0 + php 4.06.

 Sometimes IIS hangs up. No information in eventlog, neither IIS logs. 

 The resources of the machine are ok and the iis service is running. But i get "page not found until I restart de service.

 Whats happen?. Im deseperated

Remeber that PHP as module under win + iis is not stable, try the cgi mode.

That's it. The only real stable version is LAMP: Linux, Apache, Mysql, PHP.

All Win - Solutions for PHP (yes, even with Xitami on it) are NOT STABLE and have never been. A Linux - machine is worth its money: 50$ for Linux 7.3, 500$ for an old x86 to run it. Set up SAMBA to connect to your Win-System, and you've got a PERFECT peer-to-peer workstation. I never regretted my decision.
