If you don't know how to make a link in text, the PHPBuilder forums are not a likely place to find the answer. These forums are much more geared towards Web application programming using the PHP language. In fairness to the fact that we were all newbies once, though, I'll see if I can help you get started.
Really, there is not one single answer to this question. It depends on the application you are writing the text for.
If it is for a browser, then you need to learn html.In html a link is written <a href="[address the link is going to]">text</a>. There are a number of good starting tutorials out there. Look up HTML tutorial on your favorite search engine and you will find one quickly.
In most email applications these days, all you have to do is write a URL or email address, and the application will turn that into a link. Microsoft Word does the same thing. There are also link buttons you can use in many applications. Look for a picture of two or three chain links on a button.
Of course, there are many other places you might be putting a link... far too many to list here. I hope this gives you a good starting point, though.
