Same problem in Windows 2k Pro, if you rename the silly thing it just comes back again apon reboot.. Havn't seen any major fall out from it... Believe it started AFTER the installation of an Adaptec PCI SCSI adapter.. You guys have those? Can't find anything about it anywhere on the web including MSKB, this is the only forum I found discussing it..

Thanks

I know this is not the board for this but since people are asking why not help.

The problem is related to Imesh, remove it, you'll be alot better off!

i have imesh in here. How can i delete that stupid thing? It wont let me...

I have this problem in win 98' and i had imesh and i accidently deleted it
abd when i reinstall & uninstalled again this file didint been deleted !!!

I am researching, we'll have to do some registry hacks to fix..

this little problem has to do with Imesh and don´t dissapear when you uninstall Imesh, what you have to do is to look for "createsw.exe and driverpg.exe" in windows system32 or just search for them, when you find them change to .old and then restart your computer if everything is ok then you can delete this files

How dou change the type of file it is?

hi, i'm an italian using, i have a problem, when i connect my pc for after to go in internet explorer, my video open a window with : "driverpg.exe have caused an error, driverpg will closed".
                Please help me!!!

                  Hi
The same thing happened to me a few days ago. It is driving me crazy. Please let me know if you find out anything. I will the same. I have XP on a new Dell. I will keep searching for the answer.

                  Thanks
                  Bev

just rightclick on the file and select rename

                      Stesso problema anch'io.
                      Comunque l'ho risolto cancellando driverpg.exe e bon!!!

                      Ciao

                        Hi,

Every time I open my cumputer it's always giving me that stupid message ...

DRIVERPG AS PERFORM AN ILLEGAL OPERATION

You know how to fix it.

                        Thanking You.

Removing driverpg.exe and createsw.exe does work. Haven't had the problem since.

                            Hi,

Just as Curost says, it do works if you rename createsw.exe and driverpg.exe to .old and reboot the computer...

Then you can indeed delete those two files and empty the trash !!!!!!

                            That works.
                            Thank you very much Curost, u r gr8 !

So do you change the whole filename to ".old" or to just add ".old" at the end of driverpg?

                              Thanx

Thank you, thank you CUROST!! I changed driverpg.exe to driverpg.old and createsw.exe to createsw.old. Then I rebooted, deleted them and rebooted again. THEY ARE GONE!!! Thanks a million. (I also uninstalled Imesh and that is when the problem started)

                                  2 months later

                                    Ciao
