gtk on win does not work!

Hi..

i installed gtk for win to my computer.

i put dll and exe files to my php root dir (c:\php). copied dlls to win\system32 folder, putpath row in my autoexec.bat file, and tried to run some php script with gtk (thru gtk_win.exe)..

it doesn't run script. instead it reports me an error: "exe file not found!"

please help me!

Well...... you could have also followed the instructions in the readme and executed using php.exe instead. The only difference between php.exe and php_win.exe is that the latter kills the php.exe DOS window when it's executed. To use php_win.exe, you must specify an eniviroment variable called PHP_BIN.

The value of PHP_BIN must be the full path to php.exe (ex. c:\php4\php.exe). This jem should be included in the package doc's, I'm not sure why it hasn't yet. You'll also find the php-gtk mailing lists to be a much better source of help than this forum. Not too many people here are using the language bind (yet🙂. Mailing list info can be found at:
