Personally - just my opinion (possibly others too) - for the hassle and overhead your CPU will have doing this, it really is better to just pick a lane, if y'know what I mean. PHP I find is usually faster than ASP, and requires far fewer lines of code to do a great deal more functionality.
Just my thought anyway. The second I read your question I was like... Why on earth would that be the only solution?
PHP can talk to any db you can name. Piece of cake to get data talking to new scripts.
