LINUX ?!?

I currently have Windows, but i want to install LINUX is it hard to install ?? can i have both Windows and LINUX on at the same time or do i need to remove windows in order to use LINUX ??

Most modern versions (distributions) come with instalation systems that take care of installing along with windows.

It can be installed with windows...
However...
I just finished my first installation of Linux (Redhat 7.2) and was up and running Gnome and KDE gui apps in about 4 hours...
I'll never go back...

The Install was easy and painless...
Now there is a learning curve... but it isn't THAT bad and the it comes complete with 2 gui office's also...

and some of them will READ .doc files and such...

DO IT .. all the way...dump windows and go for the gusto...

It's no problem to install Linux on a Windows computer. Just use PartionMagic 7.0 and you can make a partion from Linux without removing Windows. I did with Linux 7.1 and it worked :-) !!!
