Access violation MySQL - Win 2.000

Hi there,

I set up PHP on a Window 2.000, and connect to MySQL database. it works fine except sometimes when accessing MySQL database, it returns following error:
"PHP has encountered an Access Violation at 780119C6 ", the number 780119C6 can be vary.

I should mention that this error just happen sometimes, not all the time.
Can someone tell me what cause that problem?

First crashes can happen when you do various things. You need to tell us

What version of PHP you are running
What version of mysql you are running
Windows 2000 Pro, Server?
How are you connecting to the mysql, via direct or odbc?
Attempt to narrow the code down, Does it
crash when you do

mysql_connect()
mysql_query()

random bugs are hard to find but in the end they can normally be tracked down to something.

Most likely cause is that you're running PHP as an ISAPI filter on IIS. Your opinions are to either install PHP as a CGI process (slow) or get a real server like Apache. I'd suggest the later since you then remove all the IIS related security issues as well.

MySQL version = 3.23.47
Win 2000 server
Connection via direct
Crash when the server receive !many¡ request (aprox > 4) utilize both:

mysql_connect()
mysql_query()

I find the form to run php as cgi:

before (with problems)
http://<servername>/scripts/mdusi/login.php

Now (without problems)
http://<servername>/scripts/php/php.exe/scripts/mdusi/login.php

Exits one more elegant form to make this?
