Warning: Can't connect to MySQL server

Hi,

I just installed MySQL on Windows XP and i test it its working!.. but when i try to access on a PHP page it says " Warning: Can't connect to MySQL server on 'localhost' (10061) in c:\inetpub\wwwroot\php\asnguestbook\library.php"

does any one know how to fix this?

Hi,

Is your login information in your PHP script correct? After installing mySQL you should add a new user for your scripts. While installation a user "root" is created without a password (you should set a password for user "root").
