HELP!!

Ok guys, im new to this, and I was having trouble installing the php build on my computer. I am running win2000. the installer comes up with a error message, something like "Error trying to access the local web service: GetObject Failed. You will need to manually configure IIS via the management console." Any suggestions, i just want to be able to edit some php files, so i can view them in my ie, but only code comes up . . . THANKS FOR ANY HELP

Hi,

you should pause the IIS before intallation.
Or use the ZIP-Package instead of the installer (recommended). It contains detailed Information for configuration of IIS, Apache and all the other webservers.
