apache and IIS in single PC

i need to setting up multiple web server in single PC..

i've configure IIS to listen to port 80 and apache to port 8000.. it just fine for local testing (http://localhost:8000), but have trouble with it's actual address (http://www.xxxx.com:8000/).. what should i do?..

i'm using windows NT 4.0.. can some one help me?..

Check your httpd.conf file. There is a directive which is by default set up to localhost.

Set this to the DNS name of the system. Otherwise, Apache will redirect the browser to localhost:8000 and if course the client computer will look for port 8000 on its own system, which will then fail.

If this does not work, try pinging the DNS name and see if that works. If not, you may have a DNS problem.

i've already set my registered DNS name, but still not works.. this is my httpd configuration:

Port 8000
ServerName www.xxxx.com

pinging the DNS name is just fine.. i wonder if i should configure Listen and BindAddress directives.. if so, can anybody show me how?..
