I have installed windows 98 and office 2000(witch upgraded my internet explorer and media player).The problem which I am facing is, the first time I start my system the volume controller is not appearing and any program such as winamp which requires sound is not playing and showing the following type of error when you try to start winamp

Another program is using your sound card.Please change output device(in wave out configuration),switch to direct sound output(in winamp preferences/plugin/output) or get a sound card which can play a multiple stream.
