PHP & CSS

I'm trying to make a page with a CSS file in the same folder. I included the following in the PHP file which is making the page:
echo "<link rel=\"stylesheet\" href=\"Styles.css\" type=\"text/css\">\n";

For some reason, I do not see the effects of the stylesheet. Infact, I cannot include any elements as a link (like pictures and images). I am using IIS 5 on W2K platform. Can someone please help me...

I meant, I am using:
link rel="stylesheet" href="Styles.css" type="text/css">;
in the head...

first step, view your source and if necessary copy into a clean html document and get the tools in your html editor to discover what you have coded wrong.

Basically the php should be spitting out valid html so make sure you can get it to work and then look at why the php isn't sending it. You may need to post your php code up here.

I took the code from the browser's View->Source and pasted it in a new html page. Then I loaded the page and it works perfectly with the styles. It's just when PHP is generating the page that the styles don't have any effect.
