Install on Win 2000

Hello!

I have some time to use php, so it seems that i forgot some things.

I want to install php on win2000. The path is c:\php

I copied php4isapi.dll and phpts4... to winnt\system32, set the path in php.ini (and copied it to winnt dir) to c:\php and then in iis manager i set the directory .php and load the dll isapi.

Did i forgot anything?

I get the error 500.

And the file .php is not being recognized by the system.

Does anybody know what to do?

Have u read install.txt in c:\php?

What u need to do is:

1. copy php4ts.dll to c:\winnt\system32
2. copy php.ini-dist to c:\winnt\, and rename it to php.ini
3. if u r using apache

1.* then add following lines to httpd.conf

LoadModule php4_module c:/php/sapi/php4apache.dll
AddModule mod_php4.c
AddType application/x-httpd-php .php

or (apache 2.*)

LoadModule php4_module c:/php/sapi/php4apache2.dll
AddType application/x-httpd-php .php

NOTE: officially, PHP 4.2.1 does not support apache 3.0.39. instead of that, use apache 3.0.36.

i am using iis on win2000 and i have done all these things.

Although there is an error 500

The file can't be found...
