Permission denied (ActiveX control)

Hi!
I work for a College. We have Visual Studio 6.0 installed in all the machines. We are running Windows 2000 (FAT32). When the students (who have restricted permissions) try to insert a control in a VB form, they get "Permission denied". If I do the same as administrator of the machine, I don't have any problem. One solution I've found is to uninstall Visual Studio 6.0 and re-install it again. I think the problem is that we upgraded from Visual Studio 4.0 (I may be absolutely wrong). However, we have about 200 computers, so I would like to find an easier solution.

Sounds very similar to a common Linux problem: you install something as root (administrator) and no one who isn't that user can access the thing you installed, as a result. Try changing the permissions (I don't know if you can even do that with Windows but give it a shot).
