The problem might not be with your scripts but with your browser. Are you using IE?? if you are check your settings in
tools->internet options then hit the connections tag you should have a set of radio buttons next to one it will say never dial a connection click the radio button next to this text then hit ok. Then close all your internet explorers and open a new one and try again.
