aight. I have a bad problem and i'm very frustrated. Most dalnet servers require identd on users computers, even if its not on a network or have multiple users. Well heres my problem. I dounloaded the identd program for Windows XP. I connect to irc. It K-lines me cause my computer username is bad:

-elysium.ga.us.dal.net- Checking Ident
-elysium.ga.us.dal.net- Got Ident response

I know its the "&" thats screwing it. And i have no fokin clue how to change it. All i know is that i've got a migraine and this really sucks. I've heard that win xp pro is the only one you can change it without having to reinstall windows or reformat my drives, and there is no fokin way i'm gonna do that. Theres got to be some registry hack or something i can do to change the username to something else. I dont know if it's the fokin comcast techs that are to blame or what. just someone help me before i go mental. I cant find any help anywhere else on the web.
