PHP highlighting

Does anybody know of a plugin or program that will do PHP highlighting in Window98/2000?

I use UltraEdit 32 7.10, the best editor for programming. It highlight about 7 or 8 languages, but you can add yor own languages to hightlight easily. You can find it in www.ultraedit.com. Also, you can find a plug for hightlight PHP.

I use vim, http://www.vim.org, the vi improved, available for win32 and dos.
it has syntax highlighting for the most languguags. and it's for free?

I second this, Edit Plus rocks! However I wasn't sure from your post whether or not you meant syntax highlighting in your text editor, or if you meant outputting highlighted source code on your webpage. If the later is the case, you can use the following function in PHP4:

show_source("path/to/file_name.ext");

i like this. it lists all your classes and functions on the sidebar too. a list of pretty much all such editors is found :

and a good friend you may enjoy is called webdrive , at :

webdrive basically creates a network drive as ftp. makes your webserver look like another HD and has nifty little intuitive features, it's a good replacement to homesites somewhat weak ftp capabilities as well. worth a look, very very nice.

Hello,

I have an early version of the PHPEd from Soysal. I've installed it on a computer with Windows 98 SE, and when i try to run it, it does not work! I see it in the list of the programs I run, but I cannot edit any pages...

Any ideeas?
