PHP Mail()

Hey,

I have looked for any clues that can answer my question but I cannot see to find anyone that is having the same problem.

I am currently using PHP3 on IIS 4.0 and Windows NT. The mail function on that machine works just as it should. We are moving our content over to new servers in a data center and those machines were set up with PHP4. To test the mail function, I created a page and placed the same page on my current server and one on the new server. The mail function on my current server works just fine. The mail function on the new server is not working. I get this error:

Warning: Unknown error in E:\inetpub\wwwroot\hecklersweb\hecklers\php\email.php3 on line 16

Line 16 is where the mail function is. Here is the actual code:

mail("[e-mail]", "Hecklers.com Newsletter", "add hecklers-l ","From: [e-mail]");

The settings in the php.ini file are correct. Any ideas?

Try replacing your " " " with singles, PHP4 might not be recognizing the difference in syntax.

I have exactly the same problem! The " " remplacement didnt work... any other ideas?
